As a former churn driver for Humphries Bros 1962-4 I can identify the man in the foreground taking empty churns from the washer as Tony Dawson and the man in white overalls in the background is Albert Baily. Tony worked for Humphries and Albert was an employee of Job's and lived in Didcot. I had the pleasure of working with Tony, Ron Kent, Alvin Wilkins, Harold Bailey, (Harold drove the first tanker for Humphries) John Bowler, Alan Major, the Tuckey brothers (Eddie and ?) not forgetting" Nobby" Chapman who took me for a ride in his Bedford "O" flatbed when I was 6 years old! Old "Nobby" kept driving in his old age and once embarrased me by telling one and all at Cliffords Dairy in 1983 when I was driving for the Milk Marketing Board "I used to bounce this bugger on my knee when he was a nipper!" Best wishes to all from Keith Willey (now Lewis)
