I came across your site by browsing for Freezer Fare.

I am a ex-Dewhurst employee and have a private company history of the Vestey group. It states that Vestey bought the Freezer Fare shops from Job's Dairies in 1976. Because Vestey had to buy 2 ships for its Blue Star line they sold Freezer Fare on to the Argyll Group who in turn later sold them to the Dee Corporation to go with its Bejam group.

Dee (later Gateway) acquired Iceland & I believe all the shops were badged as Iceland.
