Les & Queenie Lewis celebrate 70 years of happily married life

Ian is now enjoying a stress free life as a town crier down under

Les & Queenie Lewis

Les started work with Jobs before the second world war and retired after over 40 years service.  He worked at Tolworth, Ewell and Hampton branches as a milk salesman (milkman).

Over the years he won many prizes in the annual efficiency competitions both in the vehicle and salesman categories.

After retiring he continued to enjoy contact with Jobs through the Long Service Club.

This year Les and his wife Queenie celebrated their platinum wedding anniversary (70th) by hosting a small lunch party at their home for their immediate family.

Les sadly is now totally blind but otherwise is in good health.  This is in no small part due to the wonderful care that he gets from his wife who looks after him and their home.

Both are very proud of their family who keep in close contact with them.
