Thank you for visiting the Job's Dairy website.
Job's was once the largest privately owned dairy in the UK. This site charts the story of Job's since it's humble beginnings in the middle of the 19th century through to the time the company was sold to Unigate in April 1987.

Whether you used to work for Job's Dairy or one of it's subsidiary companies or just popped by out of curiosity after finding the site on a search engine, you are very welcome.
The main purpose of this site is to reunite former employees, provide a history of H.A. Job Ltd. and it's subsidiary companies, to inform anyone interested of forthcoming reunions and to entertain with stories, anecdotes and photographs of how life at Job's used to be.
The site has been created by Dave Rowlands and John Baynham who both used to work in the Transport Department at Hanworth Plant. |
We rely heavily on contributions from former employees and visitors to the site so please keep your stories and photographs coming in.
The site can be navigated in two ways. Firstly there are the drop-down menus which appear at the top of every page. These are grouped into six categories consisting of Company, Plant Departments, Retail Branches, Group Companies, News & Events and Contact. Click on each heading to see a list of sub-headings appear in a drop-down menu below.
Secondly you can visit the site map which lists every page on the Job's Dairy web site. Simply click on the page of interest.
If you get lost just click on the Job's Better Milk sign at the left of every page to return to the home page.
The website is still very much in it's early stages of development and new content is being added on a regular basis. Don't forget to keep coming back to see what's new and catch up with the latest news. To save you looking through every page you can visit the What's New Page to see all the latest additions to the site and the dates they were added.
We very much hope you enjoy your visit.
